Apple mungkin mendapat lawan baru dari
produk Lenovo. Thinkpad X300 adalah notebook super ringan dari Lenovo.
Dengan layar 13.3 inch, beratnya dibawah 1.5kg. Tetapi bukan itu
kemampuan notebook ini. Melainkan LCD sudah mengunakan LED backlight
sehingga membuat layar notebook lebih tipis. Selain itu kemampuan
baterai juga lebih lama.

Ketebalan Thinkpad X300 hanya 7mm dengan dual layer DVD burner, WWAN, GPS dan pengaman pembaca sidik jari.
